Allyson Carr has built a reputation as a leader who genuinely invests in people. She is known for designing workplace programs and cultures that help teams flourish by pairing vision with practical, hands-on expertise. As San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Allyson leads the organization's people and culture strategy, guiding talent management, total rewards, leadership development, and initiatives that help team members grow and thrive.
Over her career, she has held senior roles at several of the world's leading companies, including General Mills, Teradata, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and, most recently, Cybereason. As Head of People at Cybereason, she led people operations across 20 countries, partnering closely with executive leadership to deliver global processes across talent, rewards, and development, as well as successfully completing the acquisition of the company.
Allyson earned a Bachelor of Arts from Oakland University and a Master of Business Administration from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. She is the proud mother of two young children, and she enjoys spending time outdoors and connecting with nature.
