Thompson Fetter
Trustee Emeritus
Thompson Fetter has a long history of being active in small business, real estate, and nonprofit organizations, and holds a bachelor of arts degree in biological science from Stanford, MBA from Stanford Business School, and JD from the University of San Diego School of Law. He has been a trustee of San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance since 1986, and served as president of the Board of Trustees from 2001 through 2003.
His business interests have covered gasoline stations, car washes, convenience stores, and various recreational marine businesses. In 2009, he founded—and is president of—RV Solutions Inc., which sells and stores new and used motor homes and travel trailers.
His nonprofit relationships include the Western Carwash Association (past president), San Diego Space and Science Foundation (past president), the Bishop’s School, and the San Diego Port Tenants Association. He and his wife, Jane, have three adult children.
