Information Sessions
The application period for the Summer 2025 Cohort is open! Applications for Summer 2025 will be accepted by Miami University from September 2024 through February 15, 2025.
Steps to take if you are interested in applying to the Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP):
- Please fill out Miami University's “Request Information" form to start the process and receive application tips, reminders, and information about the program.
- Learn more about the Advanced Inquiry Program, the Global Field Program, or Earth Expeditions by attending an upcoming live webinar with Project Dragonfly staff and graduates. Attendance at the Miami University Project Dragonfly webinar qualifies applicants to receive a $50 application waiver. Attendance at the webinar must precede payment of the application fees.
- Attend a SDZWA virtual information session. Please see details below about this year's event.
We will hold one information session prior to the application deadline, aimed to introduce prospective students to the AIP experience with San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance as your AIP Site! You will meet AIP staff, hear an overview of the program, and you can ask questions via a Q&A session that includes a panel of current AIP students and alumni. If you miss the information session, please email us at AIP@sdzwa.org for information.
December Information Session (Virtual)
Date: December 10, 2024
Time: 5:30-7:00 PM (PST)
Format: Virtual Webinar
RSVP to our information session here!
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. We hope you can attend!
Please note: The AIP, which focuses on driving social and ecological change in your local community, is an online degree with experiential learning on grounds at SDZWA. Because traveling to SDZWA is required for the experiential learning components, the program is best suited for people who reside in the southwest United States. If you are located nearer to another AIP site (AIP Sites), we recommend that you visit the AIP website of the institution nearest you to learn more. If you do not reside in a region near an AIP site, please read about the AIP's sister program, the Global Field Program (GFP). GFP students may reside anywhere in the United States and some other countries.
For more information about the AIP, please email SDZWA at AIP@sdzwa.org or Miami University at Dragonfly@MiamiOH.edu.
