San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park will Close to Visitors Monday, March 16 through March 31
In response to the ever-changing COVID-19 situation, San Diego Zoo Global has announced a temporary closure of the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park to the public, beginning Monday, March 16.
San Diego Zoo Global recognizes the gravity of the ever-changing COVID-19 situation and are working to do our part to protect the health and welfare of our community and the wildlife in our care, the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park will remain open with some changes in our operations.
San Diego Zoo Global began the new year with an immense amount of gratitude. Just before the end of 2019, a tally revealed that the conservation organization’s volunteers logged a total of 2 million hours of service since the launch of the volunteer engagement program in 2009.
Throughout the entire month of February 2020, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is extending a big welcome to seniors by offering free admission to guests 65 years and older.
