There’s a wild new way to start the day at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park: It’s the Sun Up Cheetah Safari, a one-of-a-kind experience that includes brunch and exclusive wildlife encounters.

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is offering free admission to all active firefighters throughout the month of September, to honor the hard-working men and women who help protect people, wildlife and structures across the region.

Recently, a koi fish at the San Diego Zoo underwent a medical procedure, to remove masses from its body.

In between eating her morning meal, a 7-week-old cheetah cub played and pounced in an indoor nursery area at the Ione and Paul Harter Animal Care Center, at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
