SAN DIEGO (Aug. 29, 2024) – San Diego Zoo Food, Wine & Brew—San Diego’s wildest and tastiest night out—is back once again at the San Diego Zoo on September 21. Attendees will indulge in offerings from more than 150 of Southern California’s finest restaurants, wineries and breweries, all while contributing to the preservation of wildlife and the planet we all share.
At this one-of-a-kind annual tasting event, San Diegans can feast on bites from local restaurants, sip refreshing spirits and nonalcoholic beverages, enjoy dynamic entertainment, and experience vibrant wildlife. New this year, the Conservation Stage offers participants the chance to connect with wildlife like never before, meet wildlife ambassadors, and hear conservation stories from wildlife care specialists and horticulturists about work being done in San Diego and across the globe.
General Admission tickets are $179 and include all food, wine, beer and spirit samples; nonalcoholic refreshments; entertainment; and wildlife experiences. The event will welcome guests from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Please note VIP packages are now fully sold out, so it’s encouraged to secure General Admission tickets while they are still available. This event is open to attendees 21 years of age and older—children or strollers are not permitted. Tickets can be purchased at zoofoodandwine.com or by calling 619-718-3000.
The festival, originally launched as Kicks for Critters in 1980, has experienced remarkable growth over the years. Today it stands as one of San Diego’s premier tasting events, uniquely supporting wildlife conservation efforts not just locally, but across the globe through San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance’s eight Conservation Hubs in six continents.
